Karnataka commemorated the International Day of Democracy

On September 15, 2024, Karnataka commemorated the International Day of Democracy by organizing a 2,500-kilometer-long human chain, which the state government described as the "world's longest." This extensive chain spanned from Bidar in the northern part of the state to Chamarajanagar in the south, encompassing all 31 districts. The event symbolized equality, unity, fraternity, and participative governance.
