Tippanna is a three-year-old child. His father works as a daily-wage laborer, and his mother is a homemaker. There are four members in the household.

Child’s Main Problems:
The child has difficulty walking and also has a speech delay.

Activities provided to the Child:
We visited the child’s home and informed the parents about our early identification and early intervention programs. After analyzing the child’s developmental delays, specific goals were set. Home-based and sub-center-based activities were started.

The child was given:
– Standing activities using the wall
– Standing practice by placing the child inside a bucket filled with husk
– Forward-stepping activities using hand-held support (hand carts/walkers)
– Blowing activities using small pieces of paper, powder, and balloons

Changes Observed in the Child:
With weekly home visits and consistent activities, the child has started trying to stand up with support. He has also begun to pronounce small, simple sounds. A standing frame has been provided to the child.
