Family Background:
Prabhakar is a resident of KabirabadWadi village in Humnabad taluk. He lives with his wife and son. His three daughters are married. The family responsibilities are managed by his wife, who works as a daily wage labourer.

Cause of Illness:
He developed mental illness due to suspicion over his wife and because his youngest daughter fell in love, eloped, and got married.

Symptoms:
Aimless wandering, collecting useless items, lack of cleanliness, not mingling with people, disinterest in work, abusive language, excessive talking, suspicion, sleeplessness.

Before ORBIT’s Intervention:
Before ORBIT's intervention, he was taken to Hyderabad and Gulbarga hospitals, but there was no improvement. They also visited religious places but saw no change and eventually became discouraged.

Role of ORBIT Organization:
In January 2023, ORBIT identified him during a survey. After continuous home visits for six months, he was brought to the Hallikhed (B) DMHP camp in the seventh month. He received free medication, guidance, and livelihood training. As a result, his symptoms reduced and he is now working in the fields. The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to ORBIT.
