Family Background:
Murali is a 5-year-old child. His father works as a laborer, and his mother is a housewife. There are seven members in the family. He has one elder brother and one younger sister. The family faces severe financial difficulties, causing hardship for all members.

Child’s Main Problem:
Murali has a speech disorder and is unable to speak properly.

Activities Given to the Child:
A home visit was conducted, and his parents were informed about the Early Intervention Program. After assessing the child’s developmental delay, he was given activities such as:
• Practicing two-syllable words
• Encouraging pronunciation of different sounds
• Lip-movement exercises
• Drinking using a straw
• Blowing activities like making bubbles
Due to these activities, the child is now able to speak about 65% more than before.

Improvements Noticed:
With weekly home visits and activities such as oral-motor exercises, balloon blowing, and blowing out candles, the child is now able to speak two-syllable words. Seeing this improvement, the parents are very happy and have expressed their gratitude to ORBIT organization.
