Family Background:
Khadir Pasha belongs to a very poor family in Kappargaon. Their house is in poor condition. He lives with his parents, grandmother, three brothers, and one sister. His father and brother work in agriculture and manage the family responsibilities.

Cause of Illness:
He developed mental illness due to bad company during college and heartbreak from a failed love affair.

Symptoms:
Plucking facial hair, aimless wandering, avoiding people, disinterest in work, poor hygiene, lack of awareness about clothing, sleeplessness, not responding to others.

ORBIT’s Support:
Earlier, he was taken to private hospitals. In 2019, ORBIT identified him and convinced the family to bring him to the Humnabad DMHP camp. With continuous medication, home visits, and daily activity therapy, his symptoms reduced.

Current Status:
Due to ORBIT’s guidance and regular medication, he has improved wandering reduced, better hygiene, improved sleep, and reduced hair-plucking behaviour. ORBIT provided him two goats for livelihood. He now grazes goats and works in the fields, earning a living. The family has expressed deep gratitude to ORBIT.
