Family Background:
Karthik is a 5-year-old child. His father works as a daily-wage laborer, and his mother is a homemaker. There are a total of eight members living in the household. He is the first child and has a younger sister.

Child’s Main Problems:
The child has speech difficulties and is unable to walk.

Guidance Provided:
ORBIT organization staff visited the child’s home and understood his difficulties. The parents were informed that our organization works with children who have developmental delays. They were also told that positive changes can be brought about in their child through activity-based intervention.

Changes Observed in the Child:
Because of the various activities provided, the child is now able to sit to some extent and can stand with support for about 50% of the time. Due to this improvement, the parents expressed their gratitude to ORBIT Organization and APD Organization.
