Profile: Johara Bee comes from a very poor family. Her husband has passed away. She has three sons and two daughters. She faced extreme hardship and struggled to manage her household. Though she owns a small house, the poverty was so severe that it was difficult even to manage one proper meal a day.

About 20 years ago, she joined the Satya Jyothi group under the ORBIT organization. After joining the group, she received a lot of support. Despite her difficult situation, she regularly attended group meetings and the trainings conducted there.

She took a loan from the group and started a poultry business. With the income she earned from this, she bought goats. Now she has ten goats. She says that saving even a single rupee and being part of the group has brought immense change in her life.
