Profile:Mrs. Indumati is a resident of Chitta village. Her husband works in the fields. They have three sons and one daughter. Before joining the group, she stayed at home without any work. The family was in deep poverty, and her husband’s income from working in the fields was not sufficient to run the household, causing them great hardship.

Indumati learned about the group and joined the Sugandha group under ORBIT’s guidance. She started saving small amounts regularly. She then took a loan from the group, bought a cow, and began dairy farming. This increased the family’s income.

She participated in all the trainings conducted by the group and developed her leadership skills. She even contested and won the Gram Panchayat member election once. She proudly says that her leadership qualities developed because of the support and training provided by ORBIT.

Through dairy farming, she now earns ₹8,000 to ₹9,000 per month. She expresses her heartfelt gratitude to ORBIT for their support and service.
