Family Background:
Amulya is a resident of Chincholi village. There are a total of six members in her family. Her mother is a homemaker, and the family lives in extreme poverty.

Birth Background:
Due to hereditary reasons, this problem occurred.

Before Intervention:
Amulya, a 5-year-old child, had difficulty speaking. Through the ASHA workers, we met the child and her parents and informed them that we work with children who have developmental delays, and that positive changes can be brought about in their child through various activities.

Activities provided to the Child:
The child was taught single-letter sounds and the names of everyday household objects individually. Activities such as blowing powder from the hand and blowing pieces of torn paper were conducted. Oro-motor activities were given to help with drooling control.

Changes Observed in the Child:
The child is now able to speak single-letter sounds easily. She identifies household objects and helps her mother at home. She is able to recognize different animal sounds and colors. Seeing these improvements in their child, the parents expressed their gratitude to the ORBIT organization.
