b) CONSTRUCTION OF 20 HOUSES TO THE POOR - 2021

Objective:

To provide safe and secure shelter to 20 poor and vulnerable families who were living in dilapidated or temporary houses in Hulsur.

Implementation:

• Identification of 20 deserving families through community participation and local leaders.
• Mobilization of local materials and community labour contribution.
• Construction of semi-pucca houses with basic living amenities.
• Community involvement ensured ownership and cost-effective execution.

Outcomes:

• 20 families received newly constructed homes, improving their standard of living.
• Reduced vulnerability to natural elements and health hazards.
• Strengthened community bonding and self-help spirit.

c) COVID-19 RELIEF WORK- MARCH 2020 – JUNE 2021

Objectives:

To support vulnerable communities during the Covid-19 pandemic through immediate relief measures such as food, health, and livelihood support.

Implementation:

• Distribution of dry ration kits to over 19, 500 families across Bidar and Gulbarga Dt.
• Awareness campaigns on Covid-19 prevention (mask-wearing, hygiene, social distancing).
• Provision of PPE kits, masks, and sanitizers to frontline workers.
• Linkage to government welfare schemes.

Outcomes:

• Timely relief reduced hunger and hardship among the most vulnerable.
• Increased awareness of Covid-19 safety protocols.
• Strengthened collaboration with local administration and health departments.
