• To understand the perceptions and misconceptions of the community through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) techniques like Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), Venn diagram, and social mapping.• To mobilize community by forming CBOs, SHGs, and Farmers Development Forums as per guidelines of NABARD.
• To empower and motivate the CBOs, members of PRIs, and local leaders to participate in anti-leprosy activities.
• To develop liaison with Government healthcare providers and NGOs.
Outcomes:
• Improved community awareness and reduced stigma related to leprosy.• Active participation of local CBOs, SHGs, and PRI members in anti-leprosy initiatives.
• Strengthened partnerships with government and NGOs for early detection and treatment.
• Formation of functional and decision-making community forums as per NABARD guidelines.
• Enhanced confidence and capability among local leaders to carry forward the mission of leprosy eradication
e) WHEELCHAIR DISTRIBUTION FOR THE DIFFERENTLY ABLE PERSONS – A STEP TOWARDS DIGNIFIED LIVING (2025)
On the occasion of its Pearl Jubilee Year (30 Years of Service), ORBIT took a compassionate and inclusive step by reaching out to the differently able persons of the community in Bidar District.

Distribution of 50 wheelchairs to beneficiaries across the entire district.Outcomes:
• This initiative aimed to promote mobility, independence, and dignity among the differently able persons who often face challenges in their day-to-day movement.• The program was not only a gesture of support but also a powerful expression of ORBIT’s commitment to serving the marginalized and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
