Environmental protection is one of the key concerns of ORBIT, as Bidar district continues to face challenges such as rising temperatures, declining green cover, irregular rainfall, and pollution. A clean and healthy environment is essential for human well-being, especially for children, youth, and rural communities who are most affected by climate change.
To respond to these challenges, ORBIT has initiated a continuous Environment Protection Program focusing on increasing green cover, promoting eco-friendly habits, and creating awareness among the community. Through systematic plantation drives, awareness sessions, and partnerships with schools, colleges, SHG groups, and local institutions, ORBIT strives to build a sustainable and healthier future for Bidar.

To promote environmental conservation and sustainable living practices in Bidar district by increasing green cover and creating community-wide awareness on environmental protection, health, and hygiene.
Objectives
• To plant a minimum of 5,000 saplings every year across schools, institutions, villages, and household premises.
• To ensure survival of planted saplings through regular follow-up, monitoring, and community participation.
• To create awareness on environmental issues, climate change, waste management, and protection of natural resources.
• To sensitize students, SHG members, and the community on the importance of health, hygiene, and clean surroundings.
